Frontier Hotel 1942-2007

"This is the end result of all the bright lights... and the comp trips, of all the champagne... and free hotel suites,
and all the broads and all the booze. It's all been arranged just for us to get your money.
That's the truth about Las Vegas. We're the only winners. The players don't stand a chance. "

Really?

Toke hustling on the LV Strip in this ridiculous outfit?  Come on now...

  1. Strip is getting worse then Hollywood blvd.

  2. It's more like Venice Beach on a Sunday in August. There's one major difference: At Venice Beach the temp. is a pleasant 70f. In LV these clowns stand around toke hustling in 105f+ temps. It's a matter of time before one of these characters keels over on the sidewalk...

  3. WHY should anyone give him a tip or want a photo taken?
It looks like its some doll kid and it certainly is a fake animal, so whats the big deal?

  4. Probably one of the tens of thousands of people added to the Social Security Disability Program during the past few months and whatever he makes scrounging on the Strip is just gravy.

  5. None of you have seen The Hangover?

  6. Yes I have seen The Hangover, thank you. I just think toke hustling in this "costume" is ridiculous. Darth Vader, Elmo, or Sponge Bob have much more credibility... Just my take. JH

  7. Jimmy, it's been a while since I was here. Good to be back, as I'm laughing my ass off catching up.

Word on the street is this guy clears more cash than any of the other "performers". Drunk asses have tipped him Bellagio yellow chips to take their pic with him, and he clears a couple grand per day on a good weekend. I can't verify it, just passing along what I've heard.

  8. More power to him! He's better than Elmo and Sponge Bob, right? When I took that pic it was 112f. If you can clear $1k and stand out in temps like that... Pay the man heeez monee!

  9. It's all about the target audience. Elmo and Sponge Bob will attracted the children of derelicts - a/k/a the $29/night Circus Circus crowd - who might tip a dollar, if at all. Most parent with real money are not clogging the Strip with their strollers; they're at Disneyland instead. On the other hand, Hangover Allen will attract drunk 20- and 30-somethings. These groups are either wealthy, or are delusional about their wealth, and offer the possibility of a generous tip.

  10. Elmo and Sponge Bob attract children of derelects? How do you figure? They appeal to, and attract, all sorts of children from all sorts of families. Not just "derelects". Such a ridiculous statement.
